Promote personal connections within the church through
events, coffee hour, fellowship groups, etc
- Working with Deacons to organize meals to those in crisis
- Integrate newcomers into the life of the congregation
- Coordinate and serve communion luncheons

Outreach: Marge Garwood
To foster the Church's community involvement through programs
and services to meet the needs of the local community, both Church members and
non-members. Create a warm, welcoming environment for all who venture in. Promote connections with the larger community
- Identify and employ the gifts for ministry within the larger
community.
- Promote and lead Community assessment survey
- Youth Mission Trip
- Raising community awareness of Church events, activities and services
- Contact visitors who signed the friendship pads
- Welcome package for new members
- Reach out to new area homeowners
- Social activities and special programs in coordination with the Fellowship
Committee
- Work with the Mission Committee on the annual Mission Trip and other
mission opportunities
- Work with various committees to help promote their activities outside of
the Church

Mission & Stewardship: Bill Armstrong
Promote Christian giving of time, talent and treasures in
response and thanksgiving. Challenge the congregation to support goals that are
designed to advance the mission of the Church.
- To raise and disburse the funds necessary for Marple Presbyterian Church
to accomplish its mission
- Communicate the mission of the Church in ways that challenge members to
respond generously.
- Educate members of the Church about the biblical basis of stewardship
- Obtain financial commitments during the annual stewardship campaign
- Work with the Finance Committee in an effort to meet the basic operating
costs of the Church.
- Develop a schedule for other committees to present their goals to the
congregation
- Create awareness of giving through memorial funds and endowments
- Talent project in conjunction with the Mission Committee
- Oversee distribution of mission budget
- Provide personnel and funds for various charitable organizations
- Missionary support
- Organize special benevolence projects
