Our Church has office space for rent and some wonderful meeting and social halls available for private events.  We also have a huge kitchen. If you would like catering for your event, you can bring in your caterer or contact Justine's .

Just call the church for more information or view the rental form and current rates.  We perform weddings for those who are not members of this church and have a Wedding Coordinator to help with the plans.

*   Rates based on usage of up to four (4) hours    An additional 25% will be charged for each hour beyond four hours.  Security deposit is due with application.  Fees are due two weeks prior to date of event.  Please make payable to “Marple Presbyterian Church.”  Please refer to reverse side for additional information.

Rental Policies

I. Policy

Marple Presbyterian Church facilities are available for church groups and church-related groups, subject to space availabilities. Application for use by community groups not directly a part of the Church will be considered within the existing and anticipated schedules and needs of church groups. Once an application for use by an outside group is approved, as per Section III, the Church is considered as having been committed.

III. Procedure for obtaining Permission for use of Buildings

Written requests on appropriate form must be submitted to the Church Secretary who will schedule applications after approval by Management Committee. The Management Committee and the Session shall decide serious conflict of schedule.

IV. General Responsibilities

All groups using the building must be supervised by at least one responsible adult. If children are involved, at least two adults must be present and on time. There should be one adult supervisor for every ten children or teenagers. Each group is responsible for compliance with all rules and regulations governing use of the buildings as outline.

Each group using the Church facilities shall be financially responsible for the reimbursement to the Church for breakage or damage and are requested to report such promptly to the Church office.

Approval is needed on all types of entertainment scheduled. Approval is needed for affixing any items to walls and/or ceiling.

All vehicles must be parked according to the lined spaces, keeping the driveways clear for emergency vehicles.

Groups using Church facilities shall report to the Church office any unusual problem or situation that requires follow-up action: i.e., fire extinguisher discharge, first-aid equipment used, equipment malfunctions, etc.

V. Restrictions in Buildings

The following is NOT allowed: illegal drugs, alcoholic beverages, gambling, immoral or illegal activities, defacing of buildings or grounds, weapons, athletic games without prior approval, fires, cooking or baking without prior approval, long distance telephone calls from the Church telephones. Smoking of all kind is prohibited in buildings and on the grounds. All groups using the buildings and facilities shall be required to accomplish the following:

  1. Set up, arrange and return all chairs, tables and equipment used. 
  2. Clean up and deposit all trash in plastic bags in the outside trash receptacles. 
  3. Remove all activity decorations and supplies before departing. 
  4. Turn off lights, equipment, shut and lock windows and doors when leaving.

All groups using the kitchen shall be required to accomplish the following:

  1. Clean equipment, utensils, dishes and return them to their designated location 
  2. A charge will be made for any equipment, glassware or china breakage. 
  3. All arrangements for use of the kitchen equipment must be cleared through the chairman of the Kitchen Committee of the Women's Association.

VI. Emergency Call

Telephone 911 to report fire, police or ambulance emergency.
